Default The eight worst things you can add to a website.
  1. Framed pages, these are user unfriendly and destroy your SEO.
  2. Pop ups/behinds. Do you really want to annoy potential customers?
  3. No right click scripts. Many people use the right click to navigate sites, using one of these scripts is guaranteed to make some people leave your site immediately.
  4. No backbutton scripts. If I see one of these on a site, I'm out of there never to return.
  5. Introduction pages. If you had a B&M shop would you lock the door and expect your customers to ring the bell? Take your customer straight to your products instead.
  6. Music! If my speakers make a noise when I visit a site, I'm out of there.
  7. Sites made entirely of Flash, use Flash to add some features to your site but please don't make the whole site in Flash.
  8. That damned talking Merlin character!
