The eight worst things you can add to a website.
- Framed pages, these are user unfriendly and destroy your SEO.
- Pop ups/behinds. Do you really want to annoy potential customers?
- No right click scripts. Many people use the right click to navigate sites, using one of these scripts is guaranteed to make some people leave your site immediately.
- No backbutton scripts. If I see one of these on a site, I'm out of there never to return.
- Introduction pages. If you had a B&M shop would you lock the door and expect your customers to ring the bell? Take your customer straight to your products instead.
- Music! If my speakers make a noise when I visit a site, I'm out of there.
- Sites made entirely of Flash, use Flash to add some features to your site but please don't make the whole site in Flash.
- That damned talking Merlin character!
