How do I upload a new template please?

I have downloaded one I like from the Zencart site and the instructions in the 'install' text talk about uploading a folder via FTP...

I have a vague idea what FTP is and I'm aware I need an FTP client, but I have no idea what to do with it...

Any advice much appreciated...
