A banner is just a 468x60 gif/jpg, making it clickable is in the html, or it could be flash, as on
http://www.kickfightingfilms.com when it can be made clickable in the script. The latter could have moving images and audio
http://www.wealthynow.co.uk where as, an animated gif can have more than one image but no audio, and a jpg is just an image, full stop.
