If you are a sole trader, you don't need to "register your business", you just register yourself as a sole trader with the Inland Revenue and put the details of the source of your income on your tax return. There is no need to register each "business" individually as "you" are the business. This will only change if you decide to become incorporated e.g. a Ltd co, in which case the business becomes a separate entity to yourself.
