Default eBay Bans Sellers from Leaving Negative Feedback for Buyers

What do you reckon to this?

Anyone who's sold on eBay will know how ridiculous this is. The feedback system is there so you see the feedback of your trading partners. The nightmare buyers will now be able to rampage through the site without anyone knowing their trading history. Previously you were able to cancel the bids of repeat non payers or those who had frequently claimed they hadn't received a delivery. Now it's going to be an open field for every scammer going. There will be no way of warning other sellers of problem buyers, it's going to be a minefield for the sellers on there. It makes me glad I'm no longer an eBay trader!

The result of this will be that many regular eBay sellers will no doubt consider opening their own eCommerce sites. I haven't checked eBay's own boards yet, but I bet this news hasn't gone down well at all over there.
