just had live chats with a couple of web hosting reps and they all told me the web server location would not be an issue.

i am sceptical and am returning to this issue for now because only when i have decided whether i really am going for a web server based in the uk, i am not going to further exploring individual web hosts.

Bagi Zoltán, when you replied to my question regarding web server, did you mean that
a) when someone typed "shoes + uk" at google search, the fact of having a webserver in, say, the US would result my site in being shown on the 10th page of google?

or

b) when someone typed "shoes" and chose to search at "pages from the uk" at google search, and having a webserver in the US would result my site in being shown on the 10th page of google?

or

c) others - please specify.


also, could people further explain cons and maybe pros i will come across for having a web server physically located outside the uk please?
