Hi all Could someone please tell me how to change the text in my 'welcome e mail'. I can view it's content via my control panel but it won't let me edit it. Thanks Arkie...

Via ftp, download file in question to your computer..
MAKE A BACKUP COPY
alter file to requirements..
reupload via ftp
DONE...

Yeah, I too have been changing the welcome email, but i cant seem where to find how to change the address of the store that is shows. I want to change mine to www.emplore.com.au, but i have zen-cart installed under /buy/store, so it shows www.emplore.com.au/buy/store. does anyone know this?

Do you mean the address displayed at the bottom of the email?

If so, look for this line

Duplicate it, and place a // in front of the original line to comment it out so you have a copy of the original content for reference, then change the duplicate to

Again thanks for all the replies, but still not quite what I'm looking for.

When I first started customising Zencart, I had intended to call my store 'Open All Hours' and I must have told zencart what my intention was because the welcome e mail placed the name 'Open All Hours' in the subject line and in the text. At no point did I change a PHP file to do this.

I now wish to name my store by a different name.

So I guess my question is, where did I tell zencart the original name of my store and how do I now tell it the new name of my store so that it changes all references to STORE_NAME in the PHP files to the one I want?

To change the name of the store, you do it from admin>configuration>Store Name
