Could someone please tell me where to look to edit my homepage top header so I can add my logo etc?

This is the location of your current header image
/includes/templates/classic/images/logo.gif

If you only want to change the logo, then FTP the image of your choice to this location.

If you want to change the entire look and feel of the whole site then it might be worth investigating pre-built templates. There are some free ones available but for a small fee you can purchase a professionally built template for your store. Knowing the location of my current header image helps me how? FTP?

At present there is a Zencart logo on my header and the words 'Sale Message Goes Here'

I would love to put my sale message where it's asking me to, but haven' got a clue how.

On a positive note, I have discovered how to remove boxes and change their order...

FTP means File Transport Protocol

In plane English, it means a method of accessing files directly on your server. An FTP Client is the software used to do this.

I've emailed you a client to use and the details to connect to your site. It'll be worth your while having a play with this to feel your way around it's functions. When you're familiar with it, you can just navigate to any file you want to edit, download it, make your modifications and upload it again.

You can also use it to backup your entire site which should be one of the first things you do with it.

It may sound a bit baffling at the moment but it will soon become clear when you do it for the first time.
