Further to post I made in January 2008
i.e.
Google checkout
Have finished installing/testing Google Checkout
mod for zencart..
Tested on sandbox..worked fine
Tested live..worked fine
Tested with Digital downloads and Virtual Product.
Rather complicated to install, requires SSL Cert
for live site..but am most impressed..
Gives PayPal run for their money..fees are less.

Brilliant, I'm signed up with Google checkout, would be great to have it on my site when its eventually up and running - something else for me to try and get my head around!

I was considering the Google checkout a while back.
but was told there were configuration problems
with the zen cart.
How awkward is it with the basic carts?

There were problems when mod initially released,
but all seems well now..
Which version(EXACT) of zencart are you using?

ZenCart 1.3.8.a is latest, and worked fine for me
with Google Checkout..
You need SSL Cert that corresponds with Google's requirements,
(Details on website) for LIVE mode..SSL not required for sandbox.
Sign up for both Google Live Checkout and Sandbox Checkout..
Sandbox used to test transactions before going Live..
Read all instructions in mod zip file(download correct mod
for your zencart version)..make sure
settings at your Google Checkout main account pages
are correct...
TIPS:
1.Make notes of your settings as you enter/alter them.
2.Take your time installing, don't rush..

This is a nightmare for me! Can't follow any of it.........

So have not started it yet
