Possible to enter a product today,
and not have it show until, say this weekend or next month.
Extra coding would be required to switch off/on automatically.

That's probably a server issue as opposed to an issue with Zen itself. When you say the emails are blank, do you mean completely blank with missing text, or just the images are blank?

Can you send me a copy of your newsletter? Just put my name in front of the domain of this site to form the email address.

If I can see the source code of what it is actually sending, it might give me a clue to what is happening.

The email you sent me was plain text instead of HTML. That is the problem.

Go to admin/configuration/E-mail Options

Make sure "Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails" is set to TRUE

Also set "Email Admin Format?" to HTML

Hopefully that will fix the problem.

That would make sense, however they are set to that, both HTML.
I tried the forum on the zen-cart site, and i found that if you send to the admin, which i was doing, it wont send in HTML (http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56507) strange. but its working good now..

That's an odd quirk. Glad you got it sorted in the end.
