Default New problem

I really can't win these days.
I know have my logo showing up in the middle of the front page. I haven't changed anything so how does this happen and how do I remove it?

I've just had a quick look at he HTML source that is created and it appears at first glance to have a missing </tr> after the image. Have you altered any of the files recently?

Have you fiddled with the define pages editor in admin recently? It appears that some of the HTML has been deleted.

If you go to admin/Tools/Define Pages Editor/Define_Main_Page.php

Look for this bit of code

HTML Code:
<td width="73%"><h2>Welcome   to Tambuti Enterprises<br>
     Quality Household Appliances</h2>
Then insert "</tr><tr>" above it. That "should" fix it. If you find there's to much of a gap between the image and the text then you can safely remove some of the <br> & <br /> tags, but don't touch anything else except the actual text that is to be displayed.

Thanks for that, have now sorted. Don't know what I would do without you. How do I get the text to go next to the logo rather that underneath?

To do that, you have to reverse what you did to put at at the top of the page as the text was already beside the image before you added the extra tags. i.e. remove the </tr><tr> tags, then go up to the line that says
HTML Code:
<td width="27%">
and change it to

HTML Code:
<td align="top" width="27%">
You should consider buying a book so you can teach yourself basic HTML. To get a basic grounding in it I would recommend something like SAMS "Teach yourself HTML/XHTML" in 24Hrs, you can find this on Amazon, this will teach you enough to do basic editing. It would also be wise to use a WYSIWYG editor, you can find some free to download ones on this page http://www.thefreecountry.com/webmas...leditors.shtml Try a couple of them and see which one suites you best.
