Most of the items I sell are delivered free and I would now like to add smaller items that will require postage. How do I include the postage on these? It may seem like a stupid question, but I have had a look and really don't know what to do!

You need to go to admin/modules/shipping then select the module you want to use to calculate shipping. The one I tend to use most is the table rate which gives you a fair degree of flexibility especially with multiple purchases. If everything is going to be sent at a fixed price then select "flat rate". Have a look at the options that are available, if you can't find one that suites your needs then their are others than can be installed.

When you add a new product, scroll down until you see "Always Free Shipping:"

Select "No, Normal Shipping Rules". This will result in your customer being presented with a choice of the shipping methods you have activated in the modules section of your admin panel. If you only have one shipping module activated then they will have to use that one.
