I have been playing with the coupons and gift certificates but really want a promotional code for a discount that I can send out with parcels.

Does anyone know how I would do this?

Its really very easy.
First you need to create one in gifts and coupons and give it a name. You can do an amount or percentage.
You can either write it on each invoice or simply add it to the text on your invoice.
To monitor it effectively though I would only write it on the invoice by hand and only on 50%. You can then see how effective it actually is.I f nobody uses it then there is no need for it and you may need to look at another strategy for repeat business.You may find ou get more repaet orders from those who didn't get the discount in their parcel.
