Default Queries on text size and colour

Hi,
I would appreciate help on a couple of things. I think they are in the CSS style sheet but have spent ages altering by trial and error and having no luck.

1. I want to slightly increase the size of the text on my front page which briefly describes my site. This is just below the text which asks a guest to log in.

2. On the front page of my site most of my boxes are with purple background and white text. However I cannot get the text to change to white on the featured products box, the monthly specials box and the new products box - I am using the code ffffff but just don't seem to be able to find the correct place to insert it.

Thanks for your help.

Karen

Hi Karen

If you post the URL to your site, one of us will be able to show you where to change the code.

Lawrence,

My site is not up and running yet so I do not have a web address.

I am just getting things perfect before I do this.

Can you please let me know how I can get the info to you.

Thanks

Karen

It's difficult to help without seeing the site itself and the template it is using.

If you can locate the text concerned in the source (html source from browser, not from server files. view/source menu in IE) and post that and the code directly above it, I'll then be able to tell you where to look for the colour definitions.
