Website still comes up as Zen Cart?
Hi
Anyone know how I can solve this. If I go to google and search my store pupsandpets.co.uk, it comes up but under the title Zen Cart - the art of ecommerce. When i actually open my webiste, the title on the tool bar at the bottom is also showing as zen cart! I think it will cause me to lose potential customers!

Hi
you need to go into your files and amend yourself, do a back up first 1.open the includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php 2. Find the following line of code: // page title define('TITLE', 'Zen Cart!'); // Site Tagline define('SITE_TAGLINE', 'The Art of E-commerce'); Replace the title and tagline text with your own text, making sure that the single quote marks are not left out and new quote marks are not added and Save the edited file to includes/languages/english/custom/meta_tags.php and upload it to your server Custom is the name of your template. Hope that helped, someone please correct me if I am wrong though

Hi, I am having a similar problem, but I have amened the file you spoke about.
When I search my site using google, I get the following among the result: "....ecommerce, open source, shop, online shopping." Does anyo9ne know what I need to do to change this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi
Okay changed the Title and Tagline which did the trick, but if I google search is still has zen cart as the heading although it has site name beneath: Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce Zen Cart! : - Dog Toys Combat K9's Fleece Blankets Grooming Feeding Pet beds Pets In The Pink Collars & Leads Test Products Cat Products ecommerce, ... www.pupsandpets.co.uk/ - 18k - Cached - Similar pages Does that just need time to update or have I still missed something?

dezina is right, you won't see it change on google until they crawl your site again but it should look right when you are actually viewing your site
