I have had a successfull zencart website for a couple of years now but all of a sudden all of the "add to cart" buttons have gone and only "contact us" links are displayed now.

I have checked product quantites and they are all fine.

Anyone know why this might of happened and more importantly how i can fix it?

Can you post the URL so we can take a look?

From your description, it sounds as if your site has been put in demo mode.
Try

In admin > Configuration > My Store, set Store Status to 0.

Hopefully that'll fix it.

Yep was set at 2 for some unknown reason.
