I haven't used Agora before, I've seem it for download but never got around to trying it. The demo doesn't look bad and has all the features you'd expect from a store.

It doesn't require MySQL and is written in Perl running under CGI so it's using flat files for it's database which will restrict it performance wise. If you have hosting without MySQL and aren't expecting to run a large busy store then it could be an option for you.

What's the admin panel like and how does it compare to OSC & Zen?

If anyone else has had experience with Agora, I'd be interested in hearing how they got on with it.

I know Agora is used a lot on the Continent (it's a French product) and their forum software is excellent - and free. Might be worth giving the cart a try.

Visually Magento looks stunning, if it lives up to the hype it could be a cracking piece of eCommerce S/W.
