One of my hosting clients installed it not so long ago after getting frustrated with Magento. He seems happy enough with it.

Personally it looks like a hybrid between Mambo and OSC with the icons in the admin area. Reasonably well laid out though...

That's hardly surprising considering Magento is still in Beta. Varien themselves recommend that Magento isn't used for ecommerce until it's finished.
