Business license & tax questions
Hi, I'm setting up an ecommerce site & was wondering if we're requried to obtain a business license for online commerce sites?
Also I have no clue whether or not to charge tax for everyone or just those in my same state (CO)? Thanks! This looks like a great forum! ~Brennie

I take it you are from the states?
I know Uk businesses don't require a license, although tobacco and alcohol etc I think require one, but I know when american retailers have contacted me in the past for bulk purchases they have always quoted their business reference number. There are a few members on here from the states so sure they will be able to help you. I have a feeling it may alldependon what type of products you intens to sell though?
