Hi There

I think we got there in the end - thanks so much for your patience.

I'm not bothered about the vertical lines as only about 10 people on the planet use IE7 as it sucks - compared to firefox.

Do you know - this is the first forum I have been in for ages where the replies were from people who werent using firefox - I have got used to it now and dont use any version of IE.

I use both Firefox and IE7. You couldn't be further from the truth about the number of people who use IE7 though. It's the most popular browser on the net by a very long way. People who frequent forums tend to be more aware of the alternatives available because they are in constant communication with other regular net users but your average customer isn't. If you have a look at your website stats, it'll show you the number of visitors to your site who use each browser. I can't remember the figure, but I believe the percentage of IE7 users is something in the region of 70%. If you can only make an eCommerce site work perfectly on one browser, then that browser should be IE7 as that's the one most of your customers will be using.

Its what your customers use that counts not what forum users use.The average joe bloggs tends to use IE7 .You can check in your control panelwhat they are using,I am sure.
Anyway you should always be viewing your site on all versions ie IE, FIREFOX etc. They are all potential customers. I use IE7 for personal use and have no problems whatsoever with it.But I always check the site in firefox too.
