If they have to phone you then they can't be "experts". They should be able to get as much work as they need from the net by either referral or through their own SEO. If they are incapable of doing this, then how good are they at SEO?

If you want to bring traffic to your site, all you need to do is put the phrase "SEO secret" on your site to be spidered

Thats a great link, couldn't agree more with the articles contents. I was recently quoted £65,000 by an SEO company for 12 months work to optimse my web site for a single word!! When I questioned their price and what that actually meant, there was a lot of mentions of 'special techniques' and 'can only be done by us'

Piffle I say!! Content is King, a web site that does well on SEO naturally has plenty of relevant content, doesn't get more simple than that.

For 65k I could upgrade my car, put a desposit down on a new house AND pay for a full years adwords or affiliate programme!

Its perspective I guess, that sort of money to a large multinational is nothing to them.

I've had that and I replied to them by saying that I have a special technique for being over charged, I then asked them if they wanted to hear it, when they said yes I put the phone down. I couldn't believe it when they rang back and said they had been cut off. So I did it again and they rang back apologising for being cut off. I then explained to them that I was showing them my technique for not being over charged (dumb or what). I won't print their response lets just say there were a lot of f's in it.
