Default Free Website Traffic

If you all want to start getting hits to your page here are two useful websites to sign up to.

I have been using these sites for about 2 weeks and have had about 300 hits from each so far.

i am now starting work on a different project for a friend.

The problem with those types of sites is that they don't provide converting traffic. Viral traffic tends to be junk traffic. In the FAQ of the first site you will find this.

Q. When I use the SuperSurf Bar, it sometimes says "No Credit, Your Surfing to fast". What am I doing wrong?
A. You must stay on a site for at least 30 seconds before proceeding to the next, otherwise you will not receive credit. When the counter on the SuperSurf bar shows GO after 30 seconds, you may proceed and gain credit.

All the traffic you receive is from other webmasters who have no interest in your site, the only reason they are visiting you is gain credit so they can receive traffic themselves from other webmasters doing exactly the same as them. In the end, it's self defeating. Also, many of these "free" traffic schemes can get your site penalised by Google if they realise what you're doing. If you want to receive quality traffic, then the best way to do that is SEO your site and use some of the tips mentioned in this thread
101 Tips to Improve Your Web Presence.

I would highly recommend you discontinue using the the sites you mentioned as they will likely be detrimental to your site in the the long term.

Thumbs down

I agree. These so called "inventions" would makeme laugh if it wasn't so sad. Internet was developed to bring value to users, and Google developed a system to measure this value, I mean, their Page Rank system. It's intended to indicate the real value that a site has. But all these "inventors" always think how to cheat, how to fool search engines and even regular users. This is so gisgusting...
