Default Don't so as I did

I am not a beginner so I should have known better.I couldn't understand why Blushdance was receiving bucket loads of spam emails whereas Blushfashions wasn't.Then Lawrence kindly pointed out for me I had the email address for the whole world to see and pick up on the home page

Can't believe I did that, so be warned.

That's the Internet equiv of putting your phone number in a phone booth... not that I know what that's like ofc

There was a time last year when we were getting so much daily spam it was filling our in-box to capacity. We removed the catch-all root email address and we can go days now without a single erroneous email.

Yes I learnt that the hard way.Stupid thing is I knew not to put it there, still can't believe I did it.Emails are slowing down now though only had two begging letters today, one email from a nigerian, and only 3 bank scams , getting better

I posted a thread a while ago explaining how you can display your email address in a user friendly manner i.e. it can be copied and pasted or clicked to open your email client. You can find it here.
