What are the Major Reasons why the E-Commerce strategies are still unsuccessful in building trust into customers for buying online products or take services.

Amazon's revenue for 2006 was US$10.7 billion. They don't seem to be "unsuccessful in building trust into customers for buying online products". Neither do the countless other people who run their own ecommerce sites or trade on other's sites such as eBay.
There used to be a significant amount of consumer nervousness about trading online, but that is for the most part well and truly in the past.

E-comm is doing well because customer do not know the drawback of using E-comm. E- comm give a shopping at your own place but on the other hand the frauds taking place due to this are not so familiar with general public.

that's true, it is convenient for others who does'nt have time to drive to the malls and shops to acquire their goods and services but the worst thing here is scam and frauds and worst, stealing your identity

which is why you should always look fro a truste dsite when shooping, make sure it has secure checkout pages, that there is a landline and 'real' address in the contact us page too.
I avoid po boxes like the plague and find it very annoying when they ask you to contact them via an 0870 number. The sooner the government come up with some kind of regulation schem the better in all honesty as I think it would weed out the villians and encourage more shopping online.
