Hi i am new to e-commerce and i have read loads on the internet but a lot still doesn't make sense to me.This is a huge learning curve for me and being a very slow learner, i'm having to work extra hard.

I have managed to buy my domain name and change it to a better host but i have made mistakes along the way.Now i have managed to change my site to zen cart(this was one thing i was sure i wanted from the beginning)with help from this forum.

The next step is to learn how to use zen cart to it's potential and i will have loads of questions and make lots of mistakes i expect(thats how i learn best,from my mistakes)

So,if your new too then please post as we can learn from each other as well as the old hands here.

Plus i don't like being the only newbie around here

You're a veritable veteran compared to me. Whilst you have managed to set up a site using zen cart, I have just learnt how to switch my computer on...

So when any of the experts start dishing out advice on how to set up an e shop, please remember little old technophobic Arkwright, he knows nothing but learns quickly...

Hi Debs, very newbie here too, way behind you, I couldn't have got as far as I have without the help from people here. I am up to the bit where I bought the Zencart book, and am learning to take better photographs of items.

Where have you been Dippy?

Debs has only had her Zen installation for about a week and is coming along in leaps and bounds. hopefully she'll have her logo an template done soon then they'll be no stopping her.

I'm not much of a photographer myself but if you have any questions about the subject I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

I didn't buy the book but i do read a lot of the zen cart faq's online.Then any questions i have i post here.

I have only just begun and took a couple of days off cos i was unwell and i have the kids home.I will be getting back on with it soon.

I know very little about photography so i can't help~sorry

I'm sure you're receive loads of questions Ken, I think Dippy is likely to be at the front of the queue.

Hi everyone, I just arrived today as well. I tend to arrive a couple of days behind Dippy wherever she goes for some peculiar reason.

I am thrilled to be here as it is not often that you get such a wealth of hard to find information in such an accessible way. In addition I know most of you which gives me the confidence to ask "silly" questions when I need to.

I am hoping to set up a site maybe next year, something completely different to what I do now, so your experiences and advice will be very valuable to me.

I am way behind, basically I've been faffing learning to learn party plan and craft fairs with bath stuff, and for nearly a month had husband at home after an op on his leg, both things thankfully nearly sorted, and I WILL get back on track VERY soon.
