Boffins at H3tec in the states have developed a technology that can detect elements and compounds up to two miles away. The finished product will be small enough to be integrated into handheld devices such as mobile phones and GPS systems. There are obvious uses for this technology by the authorities and industry, but no doubt it will also be utilised by the more criminally inclined too, such as burglars looking for where cash and jewellery has been hidden. You can find more about it from http://www.marketingpilgrim.com/2007...echnology.html
The question is, what do Google want it for?
