Default Trying to install Magento...

Trying to install Magento and get the following error...
---
magento-core/Lib_Varien requires PHP extension "curl"
magento-core/Mage_Core_Modules requires package "magento-core/Lib_Varien" (version >= 1.1.3, version <= 1.2, excluded versions: 1.2)
magento-core/Mage_All_Latest requires package "magento-core/Mage_Core_Modules" (version >= 1.1.8, version <= 1.2, excluded versions: 1.2)
magento-core/Mage_Core_Adminhtml requires package "magento-core/Mage_Core_Modules" (version >= 1.1.8, version <= 1.1.8)
magento-core/Interface_Adminhtml_Default requires package "magento-core/Mage_Core_Adminhtml" (version >= 1.1.8, version <= 1.2, excluded versions: 1.2)
magento-core/Interface_Frontend_Default requires package "magento-core/Mage_Core_Modules" (version >= 1.1.8, version <= 1.2, excluded versions: 1.2)
magento-core/Interface_Install_Default requires package "magento-core/Mage_Core_Modules" (version >= 1.1.7, version <= 1.2, excluded versions: 1.2)
Install Errors

Any help?
GOT IT TO WORK HAVE TO INSTALL new php pdo mysql.dill file as well as some other modifications...l

Magento is a fantastic open source ecommerce shopping cart.

Most webhosts should be running apache, php5,mysql 5 by now.
However, do check that PHP include the specific extensions like PDO_MySQL while mySQL support innoDB engine.

Here are the basic requirement:

Web server: Apache 1.x, 2.x

PHP5.2.x and above

Required extensions:
o PDO_MySQL,simplexml,mcrypt,hash,GD,DOM,iconv,SOAP above the extension must be included...

- Safe_mode off must be offline mode

- Memory_limit 32M or more
