Have you considered getting yourself premises to store your stock such as a small lock-up?

You gave away £1,000s worth of stock just to get rid of it? If you really needed to get rid of it at any price, you could have stuck the lot on eBay, £1 start, buyer to collect. At least you would have got something for it and someone else would have been responsible for moving it.

Companies don't queue in the post office as the post office comes to them. You can arrange for them to collect.I also found a very good courier with very good rates for next day who collect too.
Also check small print with dropshippers too.If someone returns something as they just changed their mind then you are stuck with it to sell back on again.

I gave the stuff away to local charity shops - I intended to set the business up to raise money for charity so it worked out well in the end.
