Thumbs down Complaining to Lycos

Hello everyone it is me again!

I am having problems with Lycos again! - As you can see from previous messages. My payment system is down and trying to get someone to talk to is so difficult. I spoke to an advisor but was not satisfied and asked to speak to a supervisor. They said supervisors don't answer telephone calls! Have you heard of anything like it? All they say is "Email in your complaint." I have just done that and I am waiting for a reply.

Does anyone know any tips for getting answers from them - they just say technical team are dealing with it! I want to speak to them but they will not put me through. To top it all the advisor lost his temper - not very good advert for them is it.

Sorry just venting my anger! This is not doing my shop any good - one of the things you need is a payment system.

Thanks for reading and listing to me vent my anger - if you are reading this and thinking of a Lycos shop - when it works it is good but when it doesn't customer service stinks!

Thanks again.

It might be worth telling them you want a partial refund due to your store not being operational even though you've paid for it. If that doesn't work, try telling them that you want to cancel. If you they can't provide a working store then what's the point in using them?

Have you tried contacting Paynova directly? They might be more accommodating than Lycos.

It might also be worth your while pointing that your other thread is No.1 on both google.com and google.co.uk for "Lycos Paynova" which isn't very good publicity for them.

Perhaps a bit of negative publicity will make them pull their socks up.

Thumbs down Lycos

I believe in giving everyone a fair go and when I signed up there was a lot of bad publicity out there for Lycos. I thought like an idiot that they would buck their ideas up and try and get good publicity for a change. All I want is to talk to someone but I can not get anywhere - have you heard of any company where you can not talk to a supervisor - they told me that supervisors don't answer phones - just emails. What a company!

I'm sorry you're still having problems, things are stressful enough when everything works properly so this is the last thing you need to be dealing with.
