Default Microsoft makes bid for Yahoo!

Microsoft made a 44.6 million dollar bid for Yahoo today. I do not use the Yahoo site nor do I use Yahoo search but I still don't think I like it much. It's kinda like eBay buying Paypal but larger.

The only thing I use Yahoo for is checking backlinks with their site explorer. It'll be good for the internet as a whole if they can eventually challenge Google's dominance of the search engine market because the way it's going, if you don't dance to Google's tune then you're unlikely to succeed with an online business. I also heard that the founder of Wikipedia is planning to enter the search engine market which will be good for everyone IMO.

That's because you'd already been online since it was posted so it was no longer considered a "new post" to you. Try selecting "Today's Posts" for any you think you may have missed.
