Default Paypal or Google Checkout

Hi
Currently our site only uses Google Checkout for payment, but someone suggested that if we used Paypal we would get more conversions. In your experience do you think it's worth it? We're using Google Checkout at the moment because they charge much less than Paypal, and seem to have a better system for resolving disputes (have experienced problems with Paypal's in the past, with them simply refunding the buyer without investigating as to whether the item was sent, which I assure you it was...)
Google seems to be just as safe for the buyer too, but do the customers know this and trust them?
If you think that there will be people who would only buy if they could use Paypal then it is probably worth it, but would rather not use Paypal unless the sales are actually likely to increase.
What would you suggest?
Thanks,
nick

I would use both. You will undoubtedly loose some conversions due to not accepting PayPal. Far more people use PayPal than Google Checkout and may be reluctant to sign up for a Google account or give you their card details to make a purchase from you. Hopefully Google will eventually catch up with PayPal, but at the moment you're shooting yourself in the foot without it. I would make Google the default payment option though.

I agree with Lawrence, use both.
I would opt for paypal over googlecheckout everytime as a buyer.Remember a lot of customers won't have heard of googlecheckout so may just leave and go elsewhere.
