Default Britains got talent

a thousand times better than Eurovision! I thought the cheeky monkeys were really cute and the kid who sang last night, what fantastic voice he has.
I really felt for Simon Cowelllast night though when he had to make the final decision as both dance acts were really good. Cute factor won though.
And did you see the contortionistI was hurting just thinking about it

Dogs are currently hiding under settee...hubbie's bum
leaves his chair, when goal is scored. Noise of him
shouting "Goal".. dogs jump with fright..time to get
their tranquilisers out..might have to take one myself
if they score another

Strike made it to te final as did the young street dancer George. He was fantastic and I was crying at the end.I really don't think he expected to get through, I think he has a really good chance of winning at the weekend, he deserves it too.

George is good, BUT not as good as girl who won last night...Faryl Smith.
I could see the dollar signs in Simon Cowell's eyes.

I love this show! I think I've seen more clips from britains got talent on youtube than I have of their american counterparts.

My favorite so far was definitely the young boy who sang opera and had the sad story about getting picked on.

I am pleased George won as he is a nice down to earth kid who really really deserved it.He didn't even make it to the semis last year but came back and won which is fantastic and also really inspirational for all those who tried and failed this year and proves if you really want somnething and try hard enough you can achieve it.
I think he won the public vote because if his sheer determination, his personality, and he did have more mass appeal..Andrew and Faryl were super talented as were Escala but I think we all know they will get recording contracts anyway whereas this was Georges last chance really.
He is also a great ambasador for teenagers showing us they aren't all evil!!
Well done to him.
I really felt for Andrew though and just hope it hasn't knocke dhis confidence again but I an sure somethign will come out of it and he will do alright.

As for George I can see him as the next NIKE ambassador or if you look at the dancewear suppliers etc he would be fantastic for Bloch campaigns,
Whatever happens lets hope it lasts for him.
Loved his choice of song too, I loved Gene Kelly as a kid and he reminds me of a modern younger version of Gene Kelly. World is his oyster now lets hope he chooses wisely

You could sign him up..official opening of blushdance by George..
that would send sales up at bricks and mortar shop..

Actually I had already thought of that, I am adding a new 'hip hop' range of dancewear in the shop and more hip hop shoes which I already stock.
I just need to work out how to get in touch with him
I thought school holidays would be a great time as shop will be quiet as all dance schools are on holiday.
I could get him down to do a quick dance outside shop, sign a few autographs in the shop, and I could give out balloons to the kids and do ome free face painting/bodyart etc to promote the snazaroo range I sell too. Did I mention I can do face painting
Not sure if he would want to come to sunny south shields though, but my ten year old would be gobsmacked if he did as would everyone else in her dance school as they do street dancing.

On second thoughts not sure if the shop could cope with screaming girls.I have just seen his fan base on itv.com forums.
It seems george sampson has won the hearts of millions of young girls across the country all claiming to be his no 1 fan and all dyeing to meet him, heaven help the poor lad if they do
Would still love to have him at the shop though as I would love to see more boys take up dancing and there are quite a few street dancing classes starting up locally now for boys and girls.
I would need to hire a few security guards though

Just a few....

An army would be more appropriate..
Daresay he is contracted to Simon Cowell...so unless you have
lots of cash.. me thinks this is not going to happen...pity 'cos
someone somewhere is also going to come up with this idea...
my guess will be Nike...

yep my money is on Nike, best fro him as probably worth quite a bit
however it would be nice if Bloch used him as they are a dancewear manufacturer and very popular at the moment although Capezio also do some great street dancing shoes too.But he wouldn't make as much form these two companies as he would with Nike, and then there is all the tv appearances.Ironic as now he can afford professional damce lessons but he doesn't need them now
I hope he does some workshops at next years move it event.Thats a huge event for dancers and dance retailers held once a year.not only are suppliers there but it is geared up towards the public too so there are workshops and displays on all weekend with even workshops for the kids.Great weekend.
