Default food shopping online

Well I finally gave in.I guess running two websites and a shop takes up so much time I had no choice and did my food shopping tonight online with Asda
Now I just have to sit back and wait for all my goodies to be delivered

Let us know if successful.
Last time I ordered groceries online, if store had not got
exact goods, they substituted with item nothing like what
was required.

Shopping online for eletronic goods,cloths,computer,laptops,books..etc wud be much easier & they guarantee for the service of products.

But i Don't think it wud be better to get food online...they might sometime refrigerate the old stock...

I couldn't fault them at all!"
I ordered from Asda and picked a slot between 7pm and 9pm at night. They arrivd at 6.55pm, so kids were happy
There were no substitues and everything was very fresh .Nothing had a sell by date of the same day or next day as so many people told me they would.
Certainly somethign I will be doing now on a weekly basis.

I'm surprised at that, I always assumed that they would get rid of the older stock first so you'd be lumbered with the short shelf life stuff. I still haven't done food shopping online, though with a 24Hr M&S, a 24Hr Tesco and a Waitrose just down the road, I don't really have an excuse to buy online.

Yes i was surprised too, but maybe thats why they do it like that now as it was putting so many people off. Juts need to hire someone to put it all way fro me next time though

well Asda cameup trumps again! delivered 5 right on the time, they give you a two hour slot and they were 5 mins early first time, and bang on time second time so no hanging around for the two hours.
Two substitutes but they were fine and you can refuse if you .
Only downside is this, I can't carry three bottles of Rose usually when they have special offers on instore, but hey when its getting delivered to your door

I used to shop on an auction online site but since we are talking about food I usually shop it on the store. I don't think it's a good idea to shop food online.
