Looking for e-commerce naked/stark layout that is easy to convert to my design..
I have a layout/look of my site and now want to add functionality to ecommerce site. Dose anyone know if there is a e commerce solution that: one does not use tables, two is customizable, and three is not just a change color type of template. I Have been trying to use oscommerce (ripping out tables replacing with divs) but have found this frustrating/difficult. Tried Zen cart but find it hard to figure out what files to edit. I like the feel and functionality of pinnacle cart but it dose not seem really customizable. What I want to be able to do is take my design and add features of e-commerce to my site...I want a naked/stark layout that is easy to convert to my design. I want to function of the code but the freedom of design/look. I don't want to be a guru of php and mysql --and search div/box to where I want it --click this link and products or categories opens Does anybody know of product or even a developer that does this? I don't want to pay monthly. Any Suggestions? |

I have played around with the demo a bit here it looks okay. But is it easy to use with a custom situation? I have been looking into Product Cart by early impact and like there claim of easy customization. -Is magento comparable in this regard?- They have a dreamweaver extension that I have been playing with. see -www.earlyimpact.com/productcart/dreamweaver/index.asp-
The only problem is the package is ASP (which I am even more clueless then with php) and it costs $700-$1500US. It looks great but I am not sure. It maybe that I just not getting how to customize my (fireworks) design with ecommerce software... |
